33 logistics companies and logistics-related representatives from industry, trade, science and politics founded an association together with the Ulm and Swabia Chambers of Industry and Commerce on May 2011, which is intended to strengthen logistics as an important cross-sectional function and make it more visible. The core topics include infrastructure expansion, securing skilled workers and promoting technology.

Today the club has almost 100 members. The basis is formed by companies from services, industry and commerce, flanked by universities, municipalities, chambers and other organizations. An eight-member board with representatives from all areas of logistics represents the cross-sectional function in its diversity.

With offices in Augsburg and Ulm, the office is the first point of contact for all topics relating to the logistics region of Swabia. Managing director Ingrid Eibner bundles all activities and maintains contact with members and relevant organizations at regional, national and international levels.
